Everyone knows it’s difficult to open a restaurant, but no one knows that difficulty more than Chef Cristina Martinez. Her journey from serving barbacoa outside of her tiny apartment to owning her own place is almost as remarkable as her journey from Mexico to Philadelphia. She and her husband Ben Miller serve a reminder of home to many in the immigrant community, and a delicious new culinary experience for everyone else.
