Enter Jimmy Beaumont, the entrepreneur who left New York in the 1920s at the height of prohibition and opened an establishment in Mayfair, London to pay tribute to the art deco aesthetic of the quintessential New York hotels and restaurants he loved. The Beaumont Hotel was born.
